Annette DiMaggio - PIMA 2013 Winner, Queen Anne's County
Annette DiMaggio's program, 'Backpack Friday's' keeps young children from going hungry on the weekends. She is involved in that, and much more at Sudlersville Elementary.

Megan Cook - PIMA Finalist, Talbot County

Megan Cook started the CarePacks program at Easton Elementary, a program which now has spread to all Talbot County elementary schools. Carepacks ensure the children of less fortunate families have enough to eat over the weekend.

Carol Streeter - PIMA Finalist, Anne Arundel County

Carol Streeter, an electrical engineer by profession, facilitates a number of programs at Crofton ES. Among them, is the NASA Best club, in which students build 'satellites' and cultivate an early interest in STEM subjects.

Jana Sheffer - PIMA Finalist, Frederick County

Jana Sheffer serves as master of communications and consensus -- parents who work with her call her a 'force of nature.' Jana's current project is renovating Frederick High School.

Tami McClatchey - PIMA Finalist, Howard County

Tami McClatchey chairs the Wellness Committee at Waterloo Elementary. That includes making good choices regarding nutrition and lots of physical activity.
