Blue Ribbon Schools Tours of Excellence

Each Blue Ribbon School is visited by the State Superintendent and other dignitaries. School visits, called “Tours of Excellence,” and consist of an all-school commendations assembly with students, teachers, elected officials, school system executives, community partners, and parents. Following the assembly, VIP’s may participate in a reception, Blue Ribbon Flag Raising Ceremony, classroom visits, interactive discussions with teachers, or other school activity.
