Susan J. Healy, 4th Grade
Harford County - North Bend Elementary

Susan is in her twelfth year as a fourth grade teacher at her school. The daughter of an eighth generation Harford County farm family, she personalizes her instruction by reading from her own fourth grade diary, dressing in historic costumes, creating original plays, churning butter, making candles and many more unique activities. Ms. Healy is her school's technology liaison. An ordained Elder and Deacon in her church, she volunteers in her community and supports a local food bank and was lead teacher in the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Bay School Project.
