Tuesday, April 14

1:30 p.m. - Blue Ribbon Schools Visit, Kemptown Elementary School

Dr. Lowery will join State and local dignitaries at the Washington and Frederick County schools, celebrating their selection as 2015 Maryland Blue Ribbon honorees. 

Wednesday, April 15
10 a.m. - Board of Public Works, Governor’s Reception Room, State House
100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery will participate in the regular meeting of the Board of Public Works.

Thursday, April 16
12-4 p.m. - Forum: Finding Common Ground in Mathematics Education, Library of Congress,
Montpelier Room, Madison Building, 101 Independence Avenue, Washington, DC 20540
Dr. Lowery will participate in the forum, sponsored by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, exploring the past, present, and future of math education.  She will serve as the closing speaker for the event.

Friday, April 17
8 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Teachers of Promise Institute
BWI Airport Marriott Hotel, 1743 W. Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090
Dr. Lowery will take part in the annual Teachers of Promise program, which brings together State and Local Teachers of the Year with top seniors graduating from Maryland schools of education.
