The Maryland State Department of Education will host a Twitter Chat this week, with MSDE student behavior specialists responding to questions about how to recognize bullying and how to best prevent it from taking place.

The early evening chat on October 16 will explore concerns and questions parents and guardians may have about bullying behavior and how to protect students from both traditional forms of bullying and cyber bullying.  October is Bullying Prevention Month, and MSDE is joining educators throughout the State and nation in an effort to strengthen the learning environment for all students.

Twitter followers @MdPublicSchools are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the discussion using the hashtags, #MSDEChat and #StopBullying.
