Baltimore, MD (November 17, 2014)

Maryland State Superintendent of Schools Lillian M. Lowery will be visiting three Cecil County schools tomorrow morning as part of her American Education Week celebration.  Accompanied by Cecil County Superintendent D’Ette W. Devine, Dr. Lowery will observe several classrooms to get a first-hand look at implementation of the Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards.

American Education Week runs through November 22.  The annual celebration puts a spotlight on education and the important role it plays throughout the nation.
