Baltimore, MD (April 9, 2014)

Many of Maryland’s award winning teachers will get together this week with some of the up-and-coming graduating seniors from State’s colleges and universities for the eighth annual Teachers of Promise Institute this Friday. 

Teachers of Promise is a unique mentoring program, drawing on the expertise of the State’s outstanding educators.  More than 60 award-winning teachers have been matched with promising pre-service graduating seniors and will mentor them during the spring and summer transition periods until the new teachers are placed in their schools.
