Sunday, April 27
6 p.m. – Montgomery County NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner, Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, Rockville, MD  20852
Dr. Lowery will serve as keynote speaker for the 39th annual event focusing on educational improvement.


Monday, April 28
11:30 a.m. – Judith P. Hoyer Foundation Awards Celebration and Luncheon, Martin’s Crosswinds, 7400 Gateway Center Driver, Greenbelt, MD 20770
Dr. Lowery will take part in the eighth annual awards presentation for Maryland’s Judy Centers along with Rep. Steny Hoyer and Rep. Robert C. Scott.  The Judy Centers, established to continue Judy Hoyer’s legacy, promote early childhood education and family services.


Tuesday, April 29
8:30 a.m. – Blue Ribbon School Visit at Linthicum Elementary School, 101 School Lane, Linthicum, MD 21090
Dr. Lowery will visit the Anne Arundel County elementary school as part of her annual “tour of excellence” spotlighting the latest National Blue Ribbon Schools.

5 p.m. – Maryland Secondary Schools Administrators Association Spring Dinner, Hunt Valley Inn, 245 Shawan Road, Cockeysville, MD  21031
Dr. Lowery will discuss education issues with Maryland secondary school leaders.


Wednesday, April 30 - Friday, May 2
